Terms of Service
Effective date: 23 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Finano mobile application ("the App") developed by Volodymyr Symonchuk ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to them.
What the App is
Finano is a tool for recording and reviewing personal and household finances. It works on your device and stores your data locally. It is not a bank, a payment service or a financial adviser.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with the rules of the app store you obtained it from. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App.
Your data and your responsibility
- You own the data you enter or import. You are responsible for keeping backups; the App stores data on your device only and we cannot recover it if the device or the App is removed.
- If you connect a bank, you are responsible for keeping your bank token confidential and for complying with your bank's terms. Disconnect the bank in Settings if you suspect the token has been exposed.
- The App reflects what your bank or you enter. Balances, categories and reports are informational and may contain errors; verify important figures against your bank.
Not financial advice
Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Decisions you make based on the App are your own.
Third-party services
The App can connect to Monobank's API and downloads exchange rates from open.er-api.com. These services belong to third parties, may change or become unavailable, and are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.
Paid features
The App is currently free. If subscriptions or paid features are introduced in the future, their price, duration and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before purchase and these terms will be updated accordingly.
Warranty and liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data or financial loss arising from reliance on figures shown in the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App or any feature with reasonable notice where practicable.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced inside the App; continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
